PoSeID-on - Dashboard - responds to the need to make Public Administration technology services compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) directives guaranteeing the transportability of the data to the users, the right access, the right to be forgotten and the restriction of the processing of personal data.

Finanziato in parte dal programma Horizon 2020, il progetto è partito nel maggio 2018 e si è concluso nel 2020, sviluppandosi sulle tecnologie smart contract e blockchain, in grado di garantire il rispetto di rigidi standard di sicurezza, secondo i principi di trasparenza verso gli utenti e criptazione dei dati sensibili.

Obiettivi raggiunti

Il MEF ha coordinato un consorzio composto da dieci partner europei provenienti da sette Stati (Austria, Spagna, Francia, Belgio, Portogallo, Olanda e Italia). Al termine del progetto, la piattaforma è stata integrata nel sistema NoiPA, che in quanto gestore di elevatissime quantità di dati personali fornisce un esempio concreto dei preziosi benefici dello strumento.

The platform created through PoseIDon is the means by which the MEF creates a transparent, reliable, safe tool to implement in the PA activities. Undersecretary of the Economy and Finance, Massimo Garavaglia.

The adaptation of the PA information systems to the principles contained in the new European regulation is linked to the development of the innovative PoSeID-on platform, capable of managing and monitoring the personal data of users and public administrations. The platform will be integrated into the NoiPA system which, already managing a very large amount of personal data, will provide a concrete example of the possible benefits of the tool.

Technology

The project is developed on smart contract and blockchain technologies able to guarantee compliance with strict security standards, according to the principles of transparency towards users and encryption of sensitive data.

Period

The project started in May 2018 will be completed by the end of 2020 with the integration of the innovative platform in the NoiPA system.

Investment

PoSeID-on total cost is about 3 million euros, 2.5 million of which are financed by the European Commission through the Horizon2020 program.

Involved subject

For the project realization, the MEF has coordinated a consortium composed of 10 European partners from seven different countries (Austria, Spain, France, Belgium, Portugal, Holland and Italy).
