ETAPAS is the project coordinated by the Directorate of Information Systems and Innovation of the MEF that analyses the ethical, social and legal impacts caused by so-called disruptive technologies.

The event organized by SINTEF, a partner of MEF in the project, represents a valuable opportunity to share with public administrations, Govtech companies, public service providers and IT, benefits and opportunities offered by ETAPAS in response to the impacts and challenges posed by the adoption of artificial intelligence. 

Roberta Lotti, Head of the Innovation and European Projects Office of the Directorate of Information Systems and Innovation of MEF, will introduce the work. The agenda includes a first session dedicated to the use of artificial intelligence in healthcare while the second session will be animated by an in-depth discussion on the evaluation methodology applied by ETAPAS, which aims to measure and mitigate risks connected to application of disruptive technologies (AI, robotics, Big Data) increasingly widespread in public bodies. 

A virtuous case, capable of making different stakeholders dialogue with each other gathered in a space where ethics and technology can coexist.
