The economic effects of the new National Collective Agreement for public employees applied in June

The contract provides a salary increase of about 105 euros on average for 13 monthly salary. The sums in arrears will be paid by 23 June.

On 9 May 2022 the Aran (Agency for the negotiation representation of Public Administrations) and the trade union parties definitively signed, with the green light of the Court of Auditors, the text of the National Collective Labour Agreement – Central Functions Sector, for the period 2019-2021.

The application of the economic effects of the CCNL concerns non-executive managerial staff belonging to the former Ministries, Tax Agencies, Non-Economic Public Bodies, Bodies pursuant to art. 70 of Legislative Decree no. 165/2001 (CNEL, AGID, ENAC-ANSFISA-ANSV) for a total of about 211.000 administered.

The contract acknowledges, as indicated by ARAN - starting from 1/1/2021 - to each employee, a salary increase of about 105 euros on average for 13 monthly salary, a sum that includes the additional resources allocated in the Budget Law for 2022.

In June, with urgent issuance, the arrears due from 1 January 2019 were processed, relating only to salary items and arrears due for the update of the administration allowance due from 1 January 2021 only to employees of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of the Interior and the former Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.

The sums will be settled by 23 June.

The tabular amount of salaries and administration allowance will be updated starting from the month of July, while the one-off equalization element referred to in art. 75 of the CCNL 12 February 2018 ceases to be paid as a specific salary item and will be incorporated into the tabular salary.
